July '07 - Principle photography has been completed on "Ready? OK!".

The 18-day shoot was completed entirely on locations in San Diego.

The beginning stages of post-production are under way; check back soon

May '07 - Pre-production on "Ready? OK!" continues. Major casting

has concluded, with some notable highlights of Lurie Poston as Joshua,

Carrie Preston as his mom, Andy, and John Preston as her twin brother,

Alex.  Rounding out the principle cast are Michael Emerson, Kali Rocha,

Sandra Ellis-Troy and Tara Karsian. Filming begins June 23rd.

 

April '07 - "29th and Gay" is released on DVD April 3rd.

 

April '07 - "Feet of Clay" begins showing at film festivals, with

screenings scheduled at the Macon Georgia Film and Video Festival,

Film Out San Diego, and the Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.

 

March '07 - Pre-production begins on the Daisy3 Pictures feature

"Ready? O.K.!" Principal photography is scheduled for summer 07'.

 

February '07 - Post-production is completed on the short film

"Feet of Clay" and submissions to film festivals begins.

 

January '07 - Daisy Todd Productions becomes Daisy3 Pictures,

with the formal addition of partner Carrie Preston.

 

July '06 - The Daisy Todd team participates in the San Diego

leg of the 48-Hour Film Project; writing, shooting, editing and screening

a Christmas-themed film in a 48-hour span.

 

March '06 - "29th and Gay" was acquired for distribution by

TLA Releasing. TLA will release the film on DVD and Here! TV will show

the film later on cable television.

 

January '06 "29th and Gay" has begun playing international

film festivals, with screenings in Brussels and Mexico City.

 

November '05 - The Daisy Todd production of "Feet of Clay",

a short film written by David Caudle and directed by Carrie

Preston, began. Filming took place over three days in upstate

New York. Editing and post-production work is planned for early

2006.

 

Summer '05 - "29th and Gay" has played over 20 national

film festivals, including opening OutTakes, the Dallas

Lesbian and Gay Film Festival and winning the Best Gay

and Lesbian Film Award at the Northamptons International

 Film Festival.

 

April 29 '05 - "29th and Gay" has premiered at the 7th Annual

Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. The film opened the

Broward section of the MGLFF where it played to a nearly sold-out

crowd.

goes live.

 

Mar  '05 - Broadway luminary Malcolm Gets has written

and performed a song for "29th and Gay."

 The song, a piano and vocal arrangement titled

"So What Else is New," will be included in the closing

 credits of the film. Malcolm Gets is known for appearances

in New York shows "A New Brain" and "Amore" as well

as his starring role in "Caroline in the City." 

 

Feb  '05 - "29th and Gay" has been selected as one of the

 films in the 2005 Miami Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. The

World Premiere showing will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, April 29th

at the Cinema Paradiso in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 

 The Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival, a critically

 acclaimed event, is based in the world-renowned historic

 South Beach neighborhood and screens films and videos

 in locations throughout Miami-Dade County and Ft. Lauderdale.

 

Feb '05 - "29th and Gay" is finished and is being submitted to

a number of national film festivals. Participating festivals may

obtain information and a press kit at www.withoutabox.com,

Nov '04 - Building Rome, under the new title "29th and Gay,"

is near the end of the post-production process. Editing, sound

design and titles are nearly finished and the film is being scored

by John Avila, of Oingo Boingo, Reel Big Fish and The Voodoo

Glow Skulls. Avila recently scored segments of "The L Word"

on Showtime.

 

May '04 - Major filming has been completed on Building Rome.

Director Carrie Preston and her team shot the

feature during the months of March and April. The cast includes

writer James Vasquez, Mike Doyle (Laws of Attraction,

 Law and Order: SVU) Nicole Marcks (Crossing Jordan,

American Dreams) Michael Emerson (The Practice, The X

Files) Kali Rocha (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Will and Grace)

and local actors David McBean, Annie Hinton, Ari Lerner

and James Syngyn. Post-production is expected to last

throughout the summer.  

 

February '04 - Daisy Todd is in pre-production on

Building Rome, with plans to begin shooting in the spring.

The Daisy Todd team will be shooting on two Panasonic

AG DVX-100s, a 24p DV camera.

 

January '04 - Daisy Todd is collaborating with Director

and actor Carrie Preston on "Building Rome," a screenplay

written by James Vasquez. Preston recently completed

shooting "Straight-Jacket," written and directed by
